Many jobs here in Tenerife require that you work flexible hours and even days. Mosy hotel jobs for example will require that you work a full 7 days and then rest for 2. The upside is that once in every 3-4 weeks you will get a whole 4 days off.

There are some jobs that require regular hours but before embarking on your journey of "living in the sun" be prepared to be flexible, very flexible.

Even just finding a job is a job in itself and here is no different.

It's back to old school job hunting tactics.I recall spending weeks trawling round the hotels with my CV filling in application forms only to be rejected and then finally getting a break. What's more, at that time I didn't even speak the lingo...!
