Hi Visitor
Following on from the last newsletter where it was highlighted that Facebook are due to phase out groups I thought I'd take this opportunity to extol the virtues of and highlight the benefits of being involved in social media in general and how Facebook specifically can help you and your online business.
Why Have a Facebook Page
Not that long ago you were probably thinking "why do I need a website?" and now, "Why do I need a Facebook page". Well, having a Facebook page provides you with an immediate way of communicating to anyone that is interested in what you do. Every person on your Facebook page is a fan which by definition means they have an interest in what you do.
Fans Only Content
When someone sees your Facebook page for the first time you can also provide them with a customised page. Some examples of this would be Tenerife Telecom where 1st time visitors are asked to like the page in order to make savings. When they click "Like" a discount code is provided.
Another and very significant benefit of having a Facebook page is that Google indexes these as they are open to public view without being logged in. You can post special offers, products pages, services available and...
- Keep fans informed
- Post fans specific content
- Create special "Facebook Only" offers
- Ensure that your fan base increases
Click Here to see an example of a page that encourages you to click "Like" and then displays content that is specific to fans.

Newsletters
Newsletters are another great way of keeping users informed and updated with what you are doing. In web design things can change from week to week or month to month. Sometimes these changes are insignificant and other times they are big. This is our way of keeping you informed of what's new. Also, as customers push for new ways of increasing their client base these services are offered to others like you in order to help and support your business.
